BOMBA Competitive Teams
 
Again this year, under the London District Baseball Association, some of the competitive Rookieball and Baseball programs of the Byron Optimist Minor Baseball Association and the Oakridge Optimist Baseball Association remain merged.  "A player wishing to play competitive baseball in the LDBA must register with his/her home association prior to March 15, 2012.  Failure to register with the home association before March 15 would mean that said player would be allowed to only play house league."  This  applies to Competitive Rookieball and all divisions of Boys Competitive Baseball.

Rookieball (born 2004 & 2003)
Competitive programs are designed for players with better than average skills. Players are selected for team positions on a competitive try-out basis. Players not selected will be placed on house league teams. Home games are played at Byron Sports Complex; away games are played in London and nearby towns. Full team uniforms are supplied and must be returned at season's end.
